Compass Vision

If you think that in Romania there was no such thing as coaching or a culture of performance, and that they were all brought from the U.S., I would like to remind you about Noica and his cultural training … listen here

Constantin Noica is a key milestone in Romanian culture not just because he was an outstanding writer, but because he managed to go to school in an era of marginalization of the Romanian intellectuals. “Paltinis School” is not a mere metaphor, but a reality…

Noica was concerned about the future of Romanian culture, the cultural feats to which young intellectuals had to commit. He then became a genuine cultural coach, who carefully selected his students that were further taught through an intensive cultural accumulation process. He was also focused on the top intellectuals of the new generation of people between 25 and 28 years – a time when, he said, the young intellectuals were ready for a serious cultural training for a few years.

Noica fought for all of his followers, and for some of them, he even turned against the government. “We pay dozens of players each year who are employed in fictive factories while only few of them perform. We must understand that if we would pay just two or three young intellectuals in each county, they could actually have an outstanding performance” Noica would have argued against a certain current country policy.

A proof for the fact that the “Noica Age” still has valuable lessons for the young leaders nowadays is related to the recent arguments between certain famous personalities in the Romanian cultural world. Such debates about Noica and his School, will always rekindle because the stake lies in the way that the Romanian youth is formed, educated and oriented.

In an emerging coaching market, where anyone can coach without a coach title, I wanted to perform just like Noica did, and promote coaching as a profession and the coach guided the vision, mission and also a set of values that have an impact on business strategy and relationships with business partners, suppliers and customers.

My vision is to be a coach with a reputation of performance in business for multinational companies, major corporations and successful entrepreneurs.

My mission is to coach hundreds of people in order to achieve business performance and develop competencies that make a business perform in a sustainable way.
